The Beat Goes On for Omarion

October 5th, 2007 12:30 pm

In the new drama, opening in theaters today, soulful singer Omarion, 23, plays the role of a rapper, and the one-time member of boy band B2K tells OK! that in real life he looks up to hip hop entrepreneurs like Jay-Z and 50 Cent, who have inspired him to be more business savvy.

First up: He’s opening his own dance studio next year. “I want to have an academy open from the morning ’til about 5 o’clock and then later on at night – it’ll be rental and classes. I plan on teaching a master class every three to six months.”

To find out what Fly Girl gave him more advice, check out OK!’s Red Carpet Confidential blog.
