When I was invited to a party hosted by Sharon Stone at a Bel Air mansion dubbed the “Scandinavian Style Mansion,” little did I know that it would become Britney Spears 26th birthday party! Yet, about an hour after we arrived, I was sitting with friends sipping champagne on the patio when Brit (who aside from her haphazard extensions looked quite good) walked by with Sam Lufti, Ali Sims, a hot new man candy and a few burly bodygaurds in tow. A few minutes later we were in a ring around her table singing happy birthday!
But, things really got exciting when Brit’s former frenemy Paris Hilton waltzed in with a team of bodyguards to put Britney’s to shame. The pop star was none too happy about Paris stealing the spotlight and I was nearly caught in the middle of a cat fight around a table showcasing Barito sunglasses and watches when Paris was checking out the swag and Britney swooped in and grabbed a Barito watch - with the obvious aim of regaining some of the attention as well.
