Jon Gosselin’s plans to break into the Hamptons social elite seem to be failing miserably.
Recently the Jon & Kate Plus 8 star has been swanning around the summertime playground of New York’s rich and famous in the dubious company of Michael Lohan.
But according to our spies he was forced to abort his attempts to mingle with the creme de la creme on Saturday when he was laughed out of a party at the Mercedes-Benz Polo Challenge in Bridgehampton.
Poor old Jon!
The father-of-eight — who seems to have been dating both 22-year-old Hailey Glassman and tabloid reporter Kate Major of late — went to the match with his new pal and fellow celebu-dad, Michael.
But sources have told OK! that Jon was doing laps of the swanky gathering all on his lonesome, apparently hoping someone would recognize him, force a glass of Dom Perignon into his hand and invite him to their next dinner party.
Alas, after his fourth circuit around the tent, all the reality star attracted was heckles, according to the source.
A few of the rowdier guests were heard to not-too-subtly mock Jon’s clothes, which he had hastily purchased from a nearby branch of J. Crew, according to another source.
We hear that when Jon heard their haughty taunts he made for the exit with his tail between his legs.
Now don’t you listen to those mean old socialites, Jon. Just get right back on the polo pony and take another shot at climbing that social ladder!
Jon’s focus should be on his children.Supposedly:” he did not enjoy nor like the media attention.”If one doesn’t like the media focus as a father of eight(8)”,then don’t expect doors to be open to you. Also,the pictures of him with other women when he was not even legally separated is/was tacky!

Everyone keeps saying he should be with his kids - 24/7? Kate’s not with her kids 24/7, just check out her ’speaking’ schedule. I have watch the show from day 1 and I agree that Kate was quite nasty at times to Jon but think about it. If you had 8 kids and a husband who wasn’t much better than a kid what would you do. When they would get ready to go on vacation you didn’t see him packing, and when Kate wanted to clean out the garage he stated that he wanted to play with the kids. I feel that Jon had too many kids too fast and he felt old and didn’t want to feel that way so he begann to resent his life with Kate and I’m sure even though he loves the kids, the kids too. That’s why he’s out there with the younger women so he feels young. I hate to tell you Jon but that will get old too. I don’t feel sorry for Jon but in the end he will be the one who gets kicked in the pants.
Its funny how most people think kate is sucha horrible person and she wants money and fame…….Wll lets take a look at Jon. This man parties around town with a different woman every night while KATE takes care of their 8 kids. Maybe jon shoudl come home for a week and let kate go and party.
If the tables were turned and it was kate who was in the spotlight and jon taking care of the kids we would hear that she is such a bad mother, a whore, her kids should be taken away. But how come its not that way for jon. He is just as responsible for those kids as kate is.

John’s never behaved like an ass on any of their programs BUT…he’s NEVER ONCE stuck up for himself when Kate has embarrassed/humiliated him either. While he HAS stated he felt embarrassed by the way she treated him on camera…He has NEVER ONCE fought back, stuck up for himself or defended himself or his “behavior” on camera.
Jon has ALWAYS been a pansy in every episode that’s been aired since day one. He’s passive aggressive and seems to NEED to be told how things are supposed to go. If HE HAD to make a choice in any situation all on his own I doubt he’d be able to have the forethought to do it effectively.

You know two wrongs never has made a right! Kate hasn’t made this mess all by herself either. Jon has no excuse for being unfaithful in his marriage no matter what anyone thinks Kate may or may not have done to Jon to have led him to another woman’s bed? Give me a break people. Men have been so unfaithful for centuries as have women and they always blame each other for it. What about being grown up am mature for once being responsible for ones own actions? No matter how mean, cruel, sadistic, or what ever a spouse is to another…it doesn’t give the underdog the card blanch for two timing them in the bed with another person.
They should at least cut the bonds of the marriage before going around jumping into beds with everyone they can. Jon is despicable for his actions as a grown man and a father. His children have every right to google him and find out how two timing and low down their father really is.
Plus all the bull about him NOT wanting all the media blitz he has been getting over the years. It is on tape where he admitted he wanted to stay home more with his children, and complained continuously about having to leave them to go to work. He even bragged on one of the shows about getting another job that would allow him more time at home. Then Kate busted her butt to help him have more time at home by writing the book, traveling and doing book signings, etc. and for what. So Jon could whine about having to be at home all the time now?
Well ! Hello! Apparently he wasn’t at home ALL THE TIME or he wouldn’t have gotten his hand caught in the proverbial cookie jar!!! If he were being such a loyal DADDY and HUBBY why was he OUT CLUBBING? Where were his children? Why was HE not with them if HE was so henpecked that he couldn’t move an inch without Kate giving him permission.
So what if Kate had him on a tight budget. Look at what they were trying to feed? Until she made the deals with the networks and worked out the money…..do you know what they were living off of? Then do not judge her ! My God I am only feeding 3 in the family and it takes an arm and a leg just to get the essentials. Never mind the luxury items like cookies, an occasional candy bar. Trying to feed a family healthy today is more costly than feeding them junk food thanks to the industries greed to profit from the health food craze in the US.
If you noticed Kate didn’t scrimp on the children’s diet when it came to HEALTHY foods, and not all the foods are to be assumed provided by commercial hungry reps for free to her family for endorsement purposes either. Yes there were some, but you can’t feed a family Juicy Juice alone, etc. You have to give them other foods to balance out their diets.
For heaven’s sake. She may have yelled, was high strung, and sometimes seemed like she rode a broom, but you people stay glued to the TV waiting breathlessly for the next program to air! So you were entertained….and you fed into the crazy world of their family. You loved every moment of it and you know it. So why are you acting like Jon was an abused hubby and Kate a witch on a broom.
You give birth to that many children and have a husband act like he didn’t want them and even admit it on the show a couple of times as if Kate forced him to have the babies with her, and see if your nerves don’t get ragged. He wasn’t too supportive a lot of times when the show was on….especially when things were going haywire with the children. He was slack a lot of the times and whined like one of the children about things. And those eye rolls of his. Tell me he was soooo supportive of her when he would roll those eyes at her positive comments! I am afraid I would have bopped his face with a frying pan for those stupid eye rolls of his. He was just as disrespectful of her as he claims she was of him. He just wasn’t so obvious. At least she was honest in her role. He hid behind those eye rolls and smart “under the breath” remarks he would make while on camera out of Kate’s hearing. You know it wasn’t from fear either ! He is just a smart butt for his portrayal of the poor abused husband.
Still doesn’t give him the right to go to another woman’s bed while still married to his wife. That is just sinful, disrespectful, dishonest to his children, and other family members, and I am sure his father is rolling over in his grave at how his son is behaving. He surely wasn’t raised to be a whore monger. Plus the women that helped him to be deceitful and unfaithful to his wife and children are just as bad. There is no excuse for their role in the matter either.
They knew he was married and a father to those lovely innocent babies. Yet they just climbed right in bed with the louse. No matter how rough a man has it with his wife another woman should never jump into bed with him to ease his pain. The fool should run like the devil the other way….cause the man will just cheat on her if he is cheating on his wife. History just repeats itself. A cheater never changes because they will always think the grass is greener on the other side and go for it eventually every time. They will always have an excuse too! Usually to their advantage for their reason of infidelity.
I feel sorry for the poor children that Jon is trying to convince he is so innocent. I hope they do google his butt. I hope they see all the pictures and the dates on them so they see their dear old dad WAS unfaithful HOW MANY TIMES to their mom BEFORE the break up?
He thinks he can fool them, but children are smarter than you think. They will still love him, but their trust will be shaken in relationships. They may never trust someone enough to fall in love now, and if they do fall in love, they may not trust them out of their sites. That is the damage dear old dad is doing to them. They can thank him for that part of their education. No matter what excuse he tries to blame on their mom. There is no excuse for what he has done. Never in the history past or in the future will mankind find a proper excuse for cheating on a spouse.
He’s not really thinking all this single guy stuff out too clearly. He’s dating young women who are of child bearing years. Eventually, he might actually get one of them to talk him into getting married. The new wife’s possibly going to want to have kids…he’s not. Can you imagine him having his eight with Kate and more off-spring with someone else? He’ll go crazy. So he better start thinking with his brain instead of something else. I don’t expect many of you to understand this. But he was once a committed Bible beleiveing follower of Jesus. We ae not supposed to get divorced. It is a very grave thing for true beleivers of Jesus to get a divorce. I don’t honestly understand all the ramifications spiritually. I ‘d rather solve my marital problems than go through a divorce. If two people loved each otherin the beginning of a marriage, I totally believe it can be re-kindled again. Yes, it takes loades of work and it will seem like it might be impossible to do. But there are truly many marriages that can be saved if people woud just stop being so into themselves and get some help from compassionate, wise counselors. Granted, Kate was a control monger. But I hear she is really trying to change. It’s too bad a divorce has to happen before reconciliation can occur. If there was ever a chance of reconciliation with the Gosselins, I think Jon might have ruined his chances due to his silly school boy behavior. He would have also looked more like the hero if he had just lived a quiet life after the split and kept to himself and not dated. He would have gotten a whole lot more sympathy from the public. But in spite of Kate’s controlling nature, she is still amazing how she can run her home. She is a strong individual and she seems to now have a desire to change negative behaviors. She needs to work on giving Jon grace while taping the show. The bad thing for Jon is that statistics say he’ll marry someone who will control him again. So he might as well, beg for forgiveness and reconcile and hope that Kate keeps working on her controlling nature.
I feel bad for Jon to be quite honest. I mean with an ex wife like that…Shoot I’d be doing the same thing he is. She seemed to have pushed for the 2nd round of kids. They already had 2. They got married at a considerably young age. And remember ladies…Men will be men. They dont grow up…EVER. I’m sure if you think your man has grown up…well, you’re dumb.
