Poor Robert Pattinson. Along with the great misfortune of being blessed with an extremely handsome face comes the great burden of dealing with utterly — and perhaps overly — devoted fans.
When R-Pattz first arrived in NYC in early June to start filming Remember Me, he planned to work hard at his craft by day and then seamlessly slink into the city’s nightlife without hassle. But low-key Rob didn’t count on his skyrocketing superstar status, or being followed at every turn by both fans and photographers. Insiders say the mounting pressures of fame are taking their toll on the sensitive screen vampire.
“It’s crazytown,” a source on the set tells OK!. “There are all these girls with a lot of hormones and a lot of time on their hands.”
Some of them leave their phone numbers on Rob’s car and trailer, like one that read, “I think we’re meant to be together. Call me.”
Still, the polite Brit is trying to be gracious to his fans.
“Rob’s a nice guy — he doesn’t want to disappoint people,” the security detailer says. “He stops to say hello when he can, but he just can’t do it a lot. People bring him gifts, but we can’t take them — we don’t know where they’ve come from.”
In a move to shield their leading man from the cameras and curiosity seekers, the Remember Me crew has stuck Rob in a box, constructing a 7-foot-high enclosure from material screens, where the actor retreats between takes. Not that the fan frenzy dies down when the day’s filming is done.
“I worked on Gossip Girl with guys like Penn Badgely,” says the on-set source. “We’d go out after work and play beer pong. Nobody would bother them. There’s no way Rob can do that. He’d be mobbed.”
Perhaps those who envy his devastating good looks and fame might heed this insider’s five simple — and sad — words to OK!: “I feel bad for him.”

I really feel bad for Rob. By all accounts, he seems to be a nice and decent young man. What a shame that he cannot enjoy any free time away from the set w/o being mobbed. If he even talks to a girl then suddenly there is something going on between them, they are secret lovers or something outrageous. The ridiculous stories about him and co-star Emilie are just an example. And what about the picture of Emilie with her t-shirt tied in a knot like Kristen wears her t-shirts and the comments about the K-knot. Honestly. It’s like they are trying to stir up something with every minute detail. All I can say is “Hang in there, Rob. Soon it will be over.”
I agree the papperazzi ruin everything. They need to back off. Hes just a normal guy doing his job like the rest of us.
Poor Robert pattinson it is beautiful, more talented he needs your privacy.
I never saw him or anything because I live in a world most days I know you can not do what those crazy fas do more take a picture and say that was just what I expected it and I love him very much.
I live in Brazil, not only personally know Robert pattinson by TV and internet.
I think he needs more so of their privacy.

ok so yea rob feels stressed out cuz he has alot going on….especially with all the rumors that need to stop poor guy…and yea he problably misse kristen but with the filming of new moon and eclipse and remember me and his personal life and the fact that hes trying to be nice to his fans that nearly killed him well its hard so he also might wanna have a break and just relax with kristen without having the paparazzi and his fans bugging him every minute….
I feel bad about his situation…the only thing I can say is that JUST HOLD ON ROB!! “REMEMBER ME ” will be done soon and if you want to have a break You can always go back to “London ” Spend time with your family nothing more peaceful than spending time with family and friends in your own PLACE…trust me….You can invite Kristen to spend time with you when she’s done with “RUNAWAY” … too bad you didn’t fail on your acting career….SORRY..
Im just completely gobsmacked at whats going on with those fans!! its just rediculously selfish!! just so they can get a quick glance of him every now and again they are making his life miserable and obviously dont give a damn! im sure he really appreciates it! NOT…Im a fan of Robs because i think he seems like such a nice down to earth guy and he makes me laugh in his interviews and so on….but this behaviour of theirs is unforgivable…these fans are in danger of making him very bitter about the whole situation and he may even end up just igoring them all of the time…i know i would….He’s been an absolute saint putting up with it as well as he has.
I bet he cant wait to come back to the UK! for god sake….leave the guy alone!

i feel so bad for him! these so called “fans” need to leave him alone. he is really handsome and talented and all but seriously he is just a normal person like the rest of us, not a vampire. he’ll get hurt if you attack him to get an autograph or a pic with him. i am a huge fan of his and im only a teenager like most of you crazy people but i wont stalk him and jump in front of him just to get an autograph or a picture with him. i live in california so i could easily find a celebrity but i don’t do that because for 1 i dont want to embarass myself and for another i dont want to hurt them by doing so. so i just obssess over them at home and search for new stories about them online or on tv and such. he’s only doing his job and if you attack him he wont be able to do that. u might hurt him and never ever see him on anything again and i’ll bet that u don’t want that happening and neither do we fans who keep quiet. so just leave him alone
Ok I’m extremely disappointed in all of the fans and paparazzi’s there adults for crying out loud they shouldn’t be mobbing him! Yes, i am a HUGE fan of Rob but the poor guy looks soo frustrated put yourself in his situation wouldn’t you be frustrated too i think people honestly just need to calm down! leave him alone look at what happened to MJ he started doing drugs!! and then dies do we want that to happen to Rob were he gets sooo anxious that he has to take drugs to calm down and then die suddenly can you imagine how sad we would be!!!
