Twilight star Ashley Greene knows that fame isn’t just all about being recognized and adored by legions of fans — it’s also about helping those in need, which is why she’ll be launching a cause-campaign soon with DoSomething.org.
Ashley attended the DoSomething.org “Power of Youth” event the night before the Teen Choice Awards (where she won Fresh Face Female) to celebrate the achievements of some of L.A.’s best young leaders. In addition to allying herself with DoSomething.org, Ashley is also the spokesperson for DonateMyDress.org.
“I think it’s important to let young people and teens know that they should help other people now rather than later,” says Ashley. “DoSomething.org is a brilliant site. It’s really easy and let’s teens know all the little things they can do to help out. I’m so excited to be
working with an organization that calls so many young people to action.”
The details of Ashley’s campaign haven’t been released yet — just one more thing Twilight fans will have to wait for!
