Carrie Underwood has started a new foundation to give back to her hometown area of Checotah: “C.A.T.S.” - Checotah Animal, Town, and School Foundation.
The project will promote causes, needs and service in and around Checotah.
“My hometown is extremely supportive of me and I feel blessed to be able to create something as a way of giving back; to say thank you,” Carrie said in a statement.
Carrie does a lot of charity work and I am happy to see she is giving back to her home town. She is very down to earth and has a great support team (i.e. family, friends, fans and her team). I read that she is going back on tour next year with over 140 performances. Hope she comes to Cincy . Can’t wait for her new album coming out November 3rd.

Totally agree that Carrie is a wonderful person. She doesn’t just talk her faith she lives it everyday. She uses the talent God gave her to help other people. She gives so much of her money away. You all didn’t mention her boyfriend is Canada, Mike Fisher, is such a good fit with her. He too is a great Christian guy that spends his life to the glorify God. His foundation gives to the Make a Wish Foundation and Rogers House (which is just like Ronald McDonald House in the US).
They spend their time volunteering, doing mission work, raising funds, and giving their money away. You couldn’t find two better people. They are both very attractive too!
