Kim Zolciak says she is going to press assault charges against her fellow Real Housewife of Atlanta, NeNe Leakes.
As OK! reported, Kim has accused her former best friend of “choking her out” off-camera — a claim NeNe has strenuously denied.
Although Kim filed a police report after the alleged attack on April 14th, she decided not to take NeNe to court.
But now Kim tells OK! that she has had a change of heart — because NeNe has publicly denied the incident ever happened.
Last night, NeNe exclusively told OK! that she absolutely did not strangle her Real Housewives co-star and challenged her to press charges if she believes otherwise.
“If I was her, I would take a warrant out on me,” NeNe said at the G-Shock Shock The World Tour event at Cipriani Wall Street, New York. “That’s what I would do.”
And today Kim exclusively told OK! that that is exactly what she is going to do.
“That she’s saying all these things has made me pretty upset and made me realize that I made a very poor decision to not press charges,” Kim said.
She explained that she had held off on going to court because NeNe has a family and because it would have disrupted filming of the second season of the show.
But she said she is now in a position to pursue the matter.
“I got through the filming with her, but now she has gone off and said these things: you bet your ass I’m going to do the right thing,” she said.
Kim’s rep Jonathan Jaxson told OK!: “Kim’s attorneys are taking care of this matter right now.”
She claims that on April 14th 2009, NeNe arrived to start shooting a scene with her and immediately went into a rage. Kim alleges that her former friend started to point her fingers in her face, then grabbed her by the throat and began to strangle her before being pulled away.
Bravo, which airs the show, had not responded to our request for a comment before this story was posted and NeNe could not be reached.
Who cares? I cannot stand these ladies anyway. They grate on any nerve I have left in my body. Kim looks like Tammy Faye Baker’s twin sister. She wears enough goop on her face to spread on a 5 tier wedding cake, including making the rose-ette’s. Ne-Ne and the others look and behave like middle schooler’s who have sniffed to much white-out, before they go out and pony-up to their favorite street corner.
How ashamed their families must be when they see this on television. The trashy women aren’t, or they would clean up their act. I guess they could care less about what their poor families think or feel, OR what other people say to them about their wives. sad!!

I am just curious to see what that woman looks like without her wig on. Also when she was dating ” big poppa” she should have asked him to buy her a better wig because the one she wears always looks like plastic. If she had all kinds of money she could get a human hair wig and learn how to wear it right. If you notice her part in the front where her ” real hair” is, is on the side, then you see her fall/hairpiece and it is parted in the middle and does not have the dark roots. If you are going to wear a wig wear the damn thing right. I am a white woman and she still could learn a thing or two from the other ladies on the show about how to wear a hairpiece right!

Her makeup is over the top, and what kind of sleazy skanky role model is she for two vulnerable children who were unlucky enough to be born to the ex-hooker/stripper. You know, when multiple people want to kick your butt, I’m inclined to say the problem is you. Whether NeNe actually tried to strangle her or not is beside the point (though really, who could blame her if she did?). Kim just seems to bring that out in people. OMG!! I was going to bring up those two pints on how she lied about having cancer and said she was 29 yrs old. Really, I know women don’t always divulge their true age but who in the world lies about having cancer? well, i am a fan of the show and I LOVE Ne-Ne to death, and @ the end of the day, i understand how her feelings would and should be hurt…however, all of this could have been squashed from the get-go with some simple, heart-felt apologies! it’s over…now get over it and stop all this back-stabbing and name bashing…Ne ne, you were a good friend to Kim, and Kim was a good friend to you, but she got carried away with her mouth.
