If there’s one thing Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are good at — aside from making movies and saving the world — it’s being able to slip quietly (relatively speaking) back and forth between their home around the world. And that’s exactly what they did this weekend.
Sometime late Saturday night, the superstar pair and their six children were able to once again elude photographers when they vacated the west coast by flying out of a private hangar in Van Nuys, Ca., and quietly landing at Le Castellet Airport in France Sunday afternoon.
The 11-hour, non-stop flight on a rented Gulfstream Jet was estimated to set the Brangelina clan back a mere $250,000.
With the premieres and promo work for Inglourious Basterds complete, the family is now planning to finish out the summer on their 1,000-acre estate, Château Miraval in the south of France.
Pitt, who visited the Château to check up on renovations after the Berlin premiere of Basterds, isn’t due back in L.A. until later in the fall, when production might finally begin on the almost-trashed baseball flick, Moneyball.
I hope they have a great vacantion.
Good for them. I hope this is true and they can get away and enjoy their home and each other.. Now what are the tabs going to do.. oh wait what are the haters going to do.. ‘
I really hope they get to relax.. even though I reall wanted to see the twins.. (smile) OH well. Brad did hint at this several times.. Not really unexpected if this is in fact true..

who cares is right. The only reason Pitt took Angelina out of the Country is because she was thriving with her LA buds. Did you see how happy and upbeat she seems now? Now that he takes her out of LA she’ll go back to sulking and will probably lose 10 more pounds. Brad likes to keep her miserable and out of the loop so that he can make a fool of her.
Actually, Angie doesn’t like Tinseltown much. She has always preferred Europe!!!
They really need a break from the paparazzi and some family time… unless the paparazzi posed like the trees like they did last year at Chateau Miraval.
I have never heard anything so stupid to say that with them in France Brad and Angelina won’t be seen or heard. The tabloids actually go into overdrive when they are out of sight. Last summer it was Angelina is fainting all over the place, Angelina is depressed, Brad is going back to Jennifer, etc.
Don’t worry they’ll have a new batch of baby pics for sale to the highest bidder any day now.
What the Hell..spending so much money on a flight..that is so nuts…They could have used that money to help children……afterall…isn’t that what Angie is all about!! NOT………..

They both make millions of dollars. They’re traveling with 6 children. When’s the last time YOU were in an airport.
Imagine getting through security with kids and carryon bags in tow for ordinary people. Add to that a slew of photogs trying to block you so they can get their picture.

Hey Lindsay, all the paps can do is speculate when they are out of sight. When they are here we have to hear their absurd interviews, watch their weekly trips to McDonald’s and dancing lessons and so on. Good riddance. Those poor children forced to live like nomads. They will never know a stabile lifestyle.

Like Brad is gonna stay there with broom Hilda, he is gonna dump her and the kids off and then he is gonna get the heck out of there.
Boy My Angie is so full of it theses days, shes acting like a single woman, no wonder the Bearded guy took her far away, I did the same thing to, she thinks shes something, convincing her fans shes this great person, just ask the bearded man hes just about to let her go, believe me shes not what she appears to be. (haah)
Good for them. We can’t really expect the king and queen of the world to actually practice what they preach. That’s for us little people. They, of course, are much too special to fly commercial. They have all those kids, and people might want to take their pictures. So it’s private jets for them, carbon footprint be damned! Now hopefully it won’t be too long before they resurface and deign to tell the rest of us how to live. What would we do without them!
Since Brad doesn’t think we should tell people how to live their lives perhaps he should keep his big trap shut about how he lives his (where he has sex, his beliefs on religion, gay marriage). Too much information. Please give us a break!
