The slew of celebrity guest hosts on The View will be coming to an end shortly. Elisabeth Hasselbeck will return to The View on Oct. 19 according to ABC.
Elisabeth left the show Aug. 7 before the birth two days later of her third child, Isaiah Timothy, with NFL player husband Tim Hasselbeck.
While she was on leave many celebrities filled in for her with upcoming guests including the much anticipated Hills star Heidi Montag as well as recent bride Khloe Kardashian.
Elisabeth chatted with The View live last Thursday, who are all excited to have her back, but she may need to stir up some drama if she wants the ratings to remain high.
That’s too bad she’s coming back - it’s a much better View without her!
That is really a shame. The View has been so refreshing since she has been gone, the only thing she adds to the show is pure ignorance. I really hope the network will reconsider bringing her back.

Personally, I don’t miss Elisabeth’s yelping. The show is classier and more moderate without her. Being a conservative is fine. Being a rude conservative is not.
Eilsabeth caught a lucky break as a 4th place finisher on Survivor. She has no other qualifications for holding that spot. She needs more life experience, more compassion a broader world view before she can sit with those women and present an intelligent VIEWpoint.
