Jennifer Aniston has never hid the fact that her biological clock is a-ticking and who could blame her: She turned 40 in February and most of her Hollywood pals — like Courteney Cox and Sheryl Crow — are already mothers, a role she’s ready to embrace.
“I feel [motherhood is] in my future and I’m on the verge of it in some way,” the Love Happens star has said in recent months. “I want to have children. That’s my plan.”
And at least one Aniston insiders tells OK! that becoming a parent has quickly become a high priority for the actress, who has scheduled several months off before starting her next project in 2010.
“Jen’s made no secret of the fact she wants to get pregnant,” says the source. “Now, with nothing on her schedule for a while, she can relax and address the priorities that matter most — and motherhood is right at the top of her list.
“She wants to have a baby soon,” adds the insider. “And has set her heart on getting pregnant before her 41st birthday.”

When Aniston’s movie FLOPS, you can count on it — her PR team plants a baby rumor / breaking-down-over-Brad rumor for her to ‘matter’ again. One times too many, but hey there are still tons of STUPID women who buy in to her charade.
I hope she doesn’t just go with anyone she can to get herself pregnant. That would crush her reputation and her life if she had to raise the baby by herself and the baby would have to grow up without a father. Most likely, this is just more BS created by the media when they are sitting by themselves at home all lonely. Jen doesn’t seem like that kind of woman. She can only hope that people won’t start hating on her due to this s**t.
Jennifer always copies Angelina…she needs the publicity for another prententious movie…I applaud Angelina for adopting and then having her own….egos rule whenever an aging movie star pretends to get pregnant…I still don’t believe it…
Ok, I take offense at the comment made by BananaNutMuffin about having a child and raising it alone “crushing her reputation”. There are MANY women who raise wonderful children alone and there is nothing wrong with their reputations. Even if Jennifer were to get married and have a baby, it doesn’t mean the marriage would necessarily work and then she would raise the child alone anyway. If you are a fan or not a fan of her work, her having a baby will not change your opinion. She is fortunate in that she has a career that has made her some money and can control how much time she spends with her child and that she is old enough to know what she wants out of life. Does anyone remember that Britney Spears was married when she had kids…? That didn’t work out too well for anyone involved. If Jennifer wants to have a baby and gets pregnant then best of luck, she’ll still make the same movies she did before. If she doesn’t then again she’ll still make her movies. Quit trying to put her in the same category as Angelina Jolie. Let them both do what they want. This is still a free country, unless any of use are going to be the baby’s father or caretaker, it is none of our business and as long as we buy the rag mags that make this claim every few months, the mags are going to continue to print it.

Wow, I really feel so badly for these types of kids as so MANY of them have NO fathers. What is it about Celebrities that they think just because they are Wealthy that they can just do anything. Its one thing if you have a GOOD relationship with somebody, but another single mom, YIKES! The she will spend a few hours a day with it and they rest of the time a Nanny. How sad. So, glad to just be the Average Joe and do things properly.

Why does everyone like to use celebrity news as a launching point for their favourite pet issue? You are all jumping to conclusions. None of us really know whether she would make a good Mom, or whether she wants to be one.
Everyone gains weight when they get pregnant, and many can never get rid of it. For an actress known for being “sexy”, weight gain can be a career killer. Every movie Jenifer Aniston makes, makes millions of dollars. Effectively she has ben offered millions of dollars a year to keep putting off having kids. Hollywood is fickle, so her career could end at any time, and she may have thought “when my career tanks, then I will have kids”. Plus any actress spends years fighting and clawing to get a real acting job. Procrastination is a powerful force even without throwing millions of dollars into the pot. Oh, and a women’s fertility goes down when their body-fat goes below 20%. How many actresses and Super Models have less than 20% Body fat?
My guess is this is a “mid life crisis”. In a mid life crisis those with kids fantasize about a perpetual “swinging single” life they imagine they would have without kids, while the childless worry about leaving something behind. It is all about the notion that “the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence” and the realization that their are time limits, things you will lose the opportunity to do.
wow why judge her? she just wants a baby. whats so wrong about that. having a baby is a wonderful thing, and if she feels like she wants one, let her. its her life remember, not yours. so stop judging a life that isnt yours.
