UPDATE: Sources now tell OK! it may have been Jon’s grandmother, and not his mother, who was taken to the hospital. We’re looking into it and will update when we know more.

OK! has learned that a female relative of Jon Gosselin, likely either his mother or grandmother, has been taken to a Pennsylvania hospital after injuring herself at the home where Jon’s eight children live with his soon-to-be-ex wife Kate Gosselin.
An ambulance arrived at the Wernersville, PA, home around 3pm on Saturday afternoon. It is believed that she hit her head during the fall. A source close to the story tells OK! that everything is okay.
Kate was not at the house at the time of the incident, but the children were there along with one of Jon’s brothers.
Jon remained at home to stay with the children while his brother followed the ambulance to the hospital.
Hope his mother is okay. With Jon in charge it was probably total chaos,
I certainly hope she is OK.
I am thrilled that she was at the house and with her precious grandchildren!!

I heard about the other accident but can’t seem to look it up anywhere online. Just heard about it through a tmz interview last night when they told Jon.
I hope they can fix things, atleast for the kids. I understand how a mother of 8 kids can get stressed, cause we tend to over whelm ourselves more. Kate should seek help and Jon should stand by the woman that held his kids for 9months either if they do give it a try or just stay as friends.
