Big Name American Idols to Perform at the AMA’s

country music awards 3 060409 Top-selling American Idols Carrie Underwood, Kelly Clarkson and Chris Daughtry were announced today as performers for the 2009 American Music Awards. Dick Clark Production announced today that Carrie, Kelly and Chris will each be performing at the 37th annual American Music Awards.

The trio join another Idol scheduled to perform, Adam Lambert, as well as other performers already announced — Jay-Z, Alicia Keys, Jennifer Lopez and The Black Eyed Peas.

The show will be broadcasted live from Nokia Theater in L.A. on Sunday, Nov. 22 at 8:00 p.m. ET on ABC!

More performers will be announced in the coming weeks. Stay tuned!

    Hmmm… I smell somethin’ fishy with the invitation of the so-called top selling American Idol Alumni. Will the AMA night turn into AMERICAN IDOL OF ALL SEASONS FINALE? I have no doubt in my mind who is going to be the night’s star but I’m keeping it to myself. LOL…

    I cannot wait to see Kelly Clarkson perform. She is the greatest singer. I have seen her live 3 times. All I can say is AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I do respect talents of other AIs invited to sing at the awards night. Having said that, ADAM is totally from another stratosphere as a singer, entertainer and performer. ADAM excites and thrills. ADAM is fiercely electrifying!
