Bruce Springsteen canceled a Kansas City show on Monday after the death of his cousin, who was also the assistant road manager of the E Street Band.

The Boss announced the cancellation of the Oct. 26 Sprint Center performance on his website, where he posted a statement paying tribute to Lenny Sullivan.

"A warm and sensitive person, he was beloved by Bruce, the Band, the crew, and the entire Thrill Hill family."

TMZ reports cops and paramedics arrived at the hotel where Bruce, 60, and the band were staying at around 4:15 p.m.

Lenny was found dead in his hotel room and circumstances are currently under investigation but his death is not being treated as suspicious.

The "Born in the USA" rocker, who recently released his 24th album, embarked on a 47-date "Working On A Dream" global tour in April.
