Michael Jackson’s death is to blame for Dr. Conrad Murray’s late child support payments — at least, that’s what the doctor is claiming.
TMZ reports that in documents filed last week objecting to the pending arrest warrant against Conrad for not paying his child support, the doc’s lawyers claim, “As a result of the media coverage of Michael Jackson’s death, combined with the deleterious effects of the current recession, [Murray] was simply unable to meet his obligations.”
Conrad’s lawyers state in the documents that he had no intention to “evade his obligations,” but added that Conrad is, “Temporarily unable to maintain a practice or obtain employment because of the extensive media coverage related to the death of Michael Jackson.”
While he looks for a job, Conrad is asking the judge if he can make “minimal payments.”
The mother of his 10-year-old son, Nenita Malibiran, obtained a judgment last month for missed child support payments for $13,311.47.

I could not believe what I was reading. This so call doctor killed Michael Jackson, now he is blaming Michael for him not being able to take care of his children. Mr. Murray, I don’t hear Michael’s kids blaming you for their father not being here to take care of them. For Murray or his lawyer to even put anything out there like this is digusting. I am waiting for the LA Police to charge Murray. What is taking so long? When he goes to jail, at least his kids can go see him and talk to him. What about Michael’s kids?
