Pay for play is Heidi Montag’s motto, even when it involves family. The grasping reality star refused to appear at little sister Holly Montag’s birthday party without being paid to party.
While Holly celebrated her 26th birthday at Empire Hollywood in L.A. on Oct. 17, Heidi and her equally attention-seeking husband Spencer Pratt were nowhere to be seen
Foxnews.com reports that Heidi was invited but refused to come without the money to make it worth her while.
“Holly was really wishing that her sister could just be a sister and stop by her birthday party, but Heidi only goes places if she is getting paid,” an insider tells Fox’s Pop Tarts blog.
“I mean, this is her sister and she wouldn’t even show up without a fee. That’s disgusting.”
However, Speidi’s rep tells Access Hollywood the story is “absolutely not true” and Holly threw more than one birthday bash for friends and family to attend.
Ultimately the evening got noticed for another reason: the birthday girl’s BFF and The Hills co-star, Stephanie Pratt, was arrested on suspicion of a DUI after leaving.
I always said that Heidi is a piece of trash, and this just proves the point. Heidi, when all your money and tabloid attention goes away, which it will, the only people to fall back on are your family. It’s not like Spencer will stick by you when you can’t even be invited to the opening of an envelope. Holly is your sister and you should keep your family close to your heart.
