It’s about time! In a statement to E! News Jon Gosselin apologized for everything he has put the public through over the past few months and asks for a chance to prove that he has changed his ways.
False reports made yesterday that Jon would be teaming up on a reality project with Nadya Suleman prompted him to make an apology.
“I am troubled to learn that the media has accepted as true the scurrilous rumor that I would appear in a reality television program with Nadya Suleman,” he stated. “This is utterly false. I do however accept that some of my previous actions have in some way lent credence to such outrageous stories.”

“I am well aware that my behavior over the past few months has not always reflected my personal and religious values,” Jon added. “I further accept that I have allowed myself to become somewhat severed from my own moral anchor and be carried away by the challenges of fame. It is for this reason that I have endeavored of late to reconnect with my deeper, more spiritual, more altruistic self with regular study sessions and counseling.”
Jon’s plan is to seek counseling from Rabbi Michael Shmuley because of his “morality-centered-and-values-based advice, coupled with his profound commitment to fatherhood and family.”
“I have always endeavored to be a loving father and a devoted parent who serves as a moral exemplar to his eight children… My father was my inspiration and moral compass,” Jon explained. “I intend to serve the same role for my own children by taking responsibility for my errors and making right any pain I have caused to those I love.”
Jon vows he will participate in a forum at New York’s West Side Synagogue this Sunday to back up his claims by “publicly apologize in a sacred place to those whom I have hurt.”

“I wish for the public to know my regret at having, at times, betrayed the moral principles that have always guided me,” he added. “This forum will also allow me to illustrate the further steps I am determined to take to regain the trust and confidence of loved ones as well as the public who have watched me over the years, together with Kate, raise our eight beautiful children.”
Jon is aware that the world will be waiting and judging.
“I could tell you that these steps are absolutely sincere and not intended for public consumption. But I know that ultimately I will be judged not by my words but my actions.”

“It is my sincere desire to use the fame I have so unexpectedly acquired to highlight mature, responsible behavior as well as the joys of fatherhood and family,” Jon stated. “I ask the public to please understand the challenges I face in living under constant public scrutiny, even as I am aware that I have at times courted that scrutiny.”
“I am committed to making things right with Kate and especially my children,” Jon concluded. “I ask you to please give me the opportunity to prove myself.”

everyone should stop judging and leave the judgeing to God, none of us are perfect and that includes Jon and Kate, let them fix things between them, as for Jon go for it! do what you need to do to make things right, and don’t worry of what people have to say or think. Good Luck.
Are you kidding me with this? They are fame whores. They put themselves out there, always have, so they deserve every ounce of whatever they get. There are famous actors and actresses who manage to stay out of the limelight. Why can’t they? What kind of a man publicly dates all those women knowing he has daughters at home that want to look up to him? And, Kate, she’s just as bad only no guy wants her because they saw how she was when she was with Jon. They should have done us all a favor, stayed together and kept everything behind closed doors so we, who appreciate the talent of real celebrities, wouldn’t have to endure the excruciating daily updates on these two.

That forum he’s attending is costing the public $25 to hear him talk. The Rabbi is the one who advised M. Jackson. Hope Jon has a better outcome but do it in private. The public is growing very weary of all the calculated PR.
