Levi Johnston is opening up about the Palin family and his “tastefully” nude Playgirl photo shoot in a two-part interview with Entertainment Tonight airing Thursday and Friday. Levi reveals that Sarah Palin was “totally freaking out” when he and Bristol told her they were going to be parents.
Levi spoke to ET about the time that he spent around the Palin family and former Vice-Presidential candidate Sarah Palin’s parenting skills.
“Bristol was more of a mother than she was. I was around for quite a few years and as a mother, she just wasn’t there,” Levi told ET. “She didn’t do a lot of the mother things she should have done. Bristol was the one taking Piper to school and helping her out and everything else.”
Levi also added his view on the strength of Sarah’s marriage and said, “There were arguments where he [Todd] said, ‘alright lets get a divorce.’ Bristol felt that there was some cheating in that relationship.”
Levi says he’s decided to speak about Sarah because he’s not afraid of what she could possibly say back.
“She came out and said a few things that questioned my credibility, so I just said screw it. I don’t have anything to hide from her. She knows who I am, she knows a lot of things I’ve done. I’m not worried,” he explains in the interview. “I’m sure she is concerned [that I'm doing this interview] and I’m sure she is watching everything I do. I have things [about her] that could come out. The TV side of Sarah Palin is not real. She goes out and puts on a big show.”
Levi is aware that his relationship with the Palin’s will probably only get worse.
“It’s pretty bad,” Levi said about their current relationship. “I don’t see myself over there for Christmas.”
Levi recalls how Sarah handled the news that her daughter Bristol was pregnant.
“The first thing Sarah said was, ‘You know this is really going to hurt me.’ She was totally freaking out about that. She said she would like to adopt the child so we could keep things under wraps,” he explained. “That was a big deal to me and Bristol. That was a bad day for both of us. We just let her have it at that point.”
Levi may not have a good relationship with the Palin family, but said he’d “always care” for Bristol.
“She’s the mother of my child,” he said and revealed to ET that he still has her name tattooed on his ring finger, “I haven’t figured out what to do with it yet.”
We’ve heard a lot of Levi’s upcoming plans of posing for Playgirl, but he says that he isn’t 100 percent positive he’s going to pose fully nude.
“I’m not totally sure yet. I think we’re going to make that call when we get there. It’s going to be a group decision on whether it’s going to be a good idea for my image. We’re going to do it tastefully and I don’t think its going to be a bad thing.”

SHE put her family in the spotlight… doesn’t say much about a person who thinks that somehow it will all be”OK” for her pregnant, underage daughter if her mom decides to run for the 2nd highest job in the country. I’m an Alaskan who really doesn’t care for the Palin’s….but I think Levi is full of it! Saying he has all these secrets!?! The media will want to keep talking to him as long as he keeps saying stuff like that! He wants to be in the spot light soooo bad that he’ll saying anything to keep them asking!
I am surprised that you would consider second hand gossip for your show. Levy Johnston was a guest in the home of the Palin family and his need to repeat everything that he saw and heard is a breach of a person’s privacy. The reaction when Ms Palin was told of her daughter’s pregnancy is a typical one and on last nights show Levi made it sound horrible. I would like him to tell the public how thrilled and happy his parents were on learning that their teenage son was to become a father. The truth of the matter is we all, as a civilized society, must have someplace that we do not have to screen everything we say and think - and that place is home. These leeches that broadcast what parents (famous as they may be) say to each other or their children, whether by phone and in person, should be private - that what home is!!!

This is what Palin gets for preventing Levi from seeing his son. She’s backed him into a corner and he’s fighting back by threatening to hurt her. The money’s alright, he’s got a son to support, but it’s really the threat to Palin regarding visitation that he’s after here.
As with everything else, Palin’s “family values” are hypocritical and don’t extend to the importance of fathers and sons. Tripp doesn’t care whether grandma likes him or not, he just needs his dad.
Why does anyone continue to give coverage to this immature young man with no apparent talent to deem him a celebrity? I think the media is so biased against Sarah Palin and her family that media outlets keep him in the spotlight and hype the so-called “feud” between Johnston and the Palins.The goal is to discredit the former governor and her family, but Johnston just ends up looking sillier and sillier, and the media does too. From all appearances, Bristol Palin has been honest about single motherhood and what a challenge it is, though she loves her little boy. I’m sure Levi loves his son too, but he should follow Bristol’s example and quit being a doofus. If he thinks bashing the Palins all over the place will help him get more visitation, he’s very naive. A good day for me would be seeing nothing on magazine covers or the internet about Levi Johnston or the Gosselins. Enough,already.
