Chart-topper Michael Jackson is set to do it again — with the behind-the-scenes documentary of his final concert series, This Is It.
Michael Jackson’s This Is It took in $2.2 million in the U.S. from its first few late-night screenings on Tuesday, Oct. 27. The film premiered to wider audiences yesterday.
The film is expected to become a thriller at the box office and take the No. 1 slot this weekend.
The 112-minute flick — now playing in 75 countries for a limited two-week run — covers the King Of Pop’s final rehearsals at the LA’s Staples Center as he prepared for this summer’s 50-date show at London’s O2 Arena.
