There’s still about a week of shooting to go on Eclipse the third installment of the über-hot Twilight Saga, but that didn’t stop 500 people from celebrating the near-completion of the vampire flick on Saturday night in Vancouver. And while the film’s marquee star, Robert Pattinson, managed to put in an appearance, his leading lady Kristen Stewart was noticeably absent.
The bash, hosted by Eclipse director David Slade, was held at the Vancouver Aquarium in Stanley Park. And part of the reason for throwing the party before filming is actually completed, explained Slade to partygoers, is that he had to wrap filming on five of the movie’s actors today — including Elizabeth Reaser, Kellan Lutz and Taylor Lautner — so the fictional town of Forks, Wash., suddenly got a lot less crowded.

The event began at 8pm on Saturday, and the hundreds of guests got to nibble on sushi and drink freely from one of the three open bars set among the aquarium’s mammoth floor-to-ceiling displays that are home to more than 300 species of fish and other aquatic life, including a 31-year-old dolphin named Laverne, eight sea lions, dozens of otters and six beluga whales.
R-Pattz, dressed in his standard baseball cap and dark shades, finally arrived solo around 10pm and according to guests inside the party he only stayed for approximately 45 minutes before hopping into a cab by himself.

Many invited guests, who were only allowed to bring one friend, and who were required to present photo ID at the door for security purposes, had expected that Kristen would pop her head in to say hi. But alas, she was a no-show.
“It’s not like she has anything else to do in Vancouver,” quipped one partygoer to OK! about the actress’ absence.
One Twilight biggie that definitely made his presence felt was co-star Jackson Rathbone, who not only stayed for the entire event, but whose band, 100 Monkeys, was the final of three groups to perform at the party.

And while some who stayed until the celebration’s final minutes tell OK! that by the end it resembled a “drunken frat party,” the planners made sure everyone would get home safely — All guests were given free taxi vouchers to ensure that no one would drink and drive.
Forks is not a fictional town! It’s a town in Wash.

I agree, Kirsten was there my friend and her husband were there. Her husband worked on the film. Both of them were outside (smoking area) for most of the time. They didn’t stay long because people were hounding them for pictures and autographs. The invitation specifically said no photographs. There were four bars, not three and it was the same band all night. Just goes to show you can’t believe everything you read.

Interesting story. It does seem that someone was at the party but there are some facts missing. I guess the main fact is Kristen. Was she or wasn’t she and the people that are posting that she was there, how do you know she was there for sure? Were you at the ultra secure party? Did you see for yourself? This reporting could have been done by anyone standing at the gate like Ric Fedyck’s wife who staked out the party all night long because the Punkd photographer has a restraining order against him. he can not go anywhere near a Summit event. There are no photos unless a guest took them and we all know that guests just don’t do that at a private wrap party.

And yes, I know the full story. I was there. But I cannot confirm who was or wasn’t outside as far as paparazzi go, ASIDE from canadagraphs, as I was inside the event.
That comment above is not me. I am annechantal aka @annechantal on twitter. The only photographer that was outside that I am aware of was Canadagraphs. PUNKD was NOT there.

I was at the party, and yes she was there, she was very rude and looked very unkept, she arrived WITH r patt and left with r patt. This magazine & website is completely and absolutely STUPID…FORKS is an actual town…And who even knows who was at the “party”…we live not too far from Vancouver and have been to Forks repeatedly since we have family there…not to mention that the aquarium is NOTHING like they describe! Most of the crap that is printed in these mags are normally FALSE.
Who even checks the facts that this site posts - it’s obvious there are no reputable staff editors, copy editors or reporters here!! If it were any type of reputable news source then perhaps it would actually check the sources it takes info from.

I was there, they were both there, they hid in a corner the whole time. There were no reporters or photographers inside just guests taking their own pictures. The band was great, everyone danced and drank like there was no tomorrow.

I would like to clarify some facts on this story above and this message board. I have worked security on both Twilight Saga Films and have found that there are a few bad apples out there and some just trying to do there job(s). Fact 1, 8 Cast member’s were at Party including Kristen. Fact 2, Rob stayed more than 45 minutes and most definitely did not jump in any cab. Fact 3, Punkd Photographer Rick Fedyk does not have a restraining order on him and in fact was at the location for about 15 minutes and left respectfully when he saw there was no opportunities for pictures unlike other disrespectful journalists and paparazzi. Mr Fedyck has always been respectful other than 1 occasion in which he was detained for a few hours so he wouldn’t interrupt a beach scene!! and his beautiful asian wife was there with some friends and her daughter for about 1 hour and left respectfully as well. Fact 4, Taylor Lautner was not there!!! Fact 5, The Party was not made up to resemble The Forks!!! All these fictional Facts are from 1 of 3 people who all work together and are very disrespectful and annoying!! Fact is it’s Christine Kilpatrick, John (calls himself a hound) or Randy Chiang who made up these fictitional stories.

YES, I was there. Kristen and Rob stuck together the whole time in the corner but there was always people around them, then they went outside in the same corner and sat where people were smoking, they came together and left together, they were both wearing hooded sweaters and he was wearing a ballcap. It is amusing to me that all the websites are saying she wasn’t there when she was. They came in a special entrance which is why no one got pictures of anyone coming or going, the security was awesome and there were no papz inside (a clean night). IF there are any pics it would have been from someone on the twilight team as no one but guests were taking pictures (and it was for there own personal albums I am sure). I danced my butt off and had a great time.
