Back when Angelina was still married to ex Billy Bob Thornton in 2001, she adopted son Maddox — legally, by herself, as a spokesman for the Immigration and Naturalization Service in D.C. confirmed that “only [Angelina's] name [was] on the [adoption] papers.”

While Brad has said he wants a “soccer team” of kids, he’s now telling friends he’s not quite ready for another baby. However, his partner Angie is very ready and is preparing to bring home a little girl from Syria — a move that could result in an almighty showdown in their already strained relationship.

Though Angie, 34, has made no secret of her desire to “have more kids — one way or another,” an insider tells OK! that her single-minded mission has caused a major rift with Brad. “He has made it clear that six children are more than he can handle,” the source says. “The idea of one more seemed ludicrous, but Angie is determined to complete her rainbow family.”

this is dumb. unmarried couples can’t adopt together, so only one can put their name on it. when the kid gets to the states Brad will add his name just like when they adopted Pax.

Such a pathetic cover. Brad and Angie are the parents of 6 kids.. all Jolie-Pitts. they are not married so Angie would have to adopt on her own.. man can you people leave these two alone. Get a feakin life and stop obsessing over them. Brad/Angie wanted a big family.they have said it together and separate. Yet everything they add a child people act shocked. This is such a dumb story for so many reasons. Unmarried couples can’t adopt. So Angelina adopted Zahara and Pax. Brad adopted them in the United States. Brad has been saying for years he wants a large family. Even during the promotion for IB he said they plan to continue adopt and have more biological children. Everytime Angelina goes on a UN trip losers say she’s going to adopt. Usually the laws in many of these countries don’t allow singles to adopt. I’m almost positive that Syria is one of those countries. I guess the misleading Robert and Kristen covers aren’t selling.
LMAO. Americans canot adopt from Syria. First off you have to be married unmarried and/or singles cannot adopt from their. Secondly you must be Muslim which she isn’t and 3rdly only couples that are infertile are allowed to adopt. They must prove for 5 yrs they’ve been unable to have their own children which Jolie does not qualify for any of these things. Really, really bad reporting OK.
All you have to do is read the adoption laws of Syria and you’d know but the most important thing is that Brad and Angelina went to an SOS house in Jordan NOT Syria so even that’s wrong too. HA HA

As stated above, it’s virtually impossible for Westerners to adopt from Syria. How hard would it have been for the OK staff to google the Syrian adoption laws. And yeah, they went to Jordon, not Syria.

Wow Susi! I’m sorry, but there are a lot of things fundamentally wrong with their relationship, gossip aside. It’s not hard to see the cracks in their foundation. And just because somebody notices that while “somebody else” is too busy defending them to see straight doesn’t warrant internet bullying. They don’t care for you any more than they care about me. OMG News Flash There are Children in every country that need a good home , Children in the USA are not more or less deserving over a good home than children in Africa or Asia or anywhere else. It doesn’t require any money to adopt from the foster care system and the child will be provided with free health insurance and possibly a monthly stipend. Contact your local county for info. Oh btw most of the kids are older and nonwhite. Still interested

If she actually goes ahead and does this, then if i were Brad, i would have a major, major problem with that. He is telling her that he doesn’t more kids, and she is plainly going behind his back and doing it anyway. It takes two to make a relationship work and she is not being a team player. She is planning on shooting another movie and she will have this new baby to take care of. Or have Brad take care of. I am glad she is helping out and using her celebrity to bring awareness to certain causes, but this time, it’s– she’s gone too far. If this really happens, then it’s too bad. I feel sorry for Brad. He should learn to stick up for himself and say, “no” He should. he really should learn how to stick up for what he believes. Adopt another child and hire another nanny to raise the kid. People come on, these two would not be able to adpot or raise so many kids if it was just themeselves doing all the hardwork and keep up with their acting. It’s sickening that she wants to adpot again yet plans to shoot another movie. Jolie lies. She said that she was going to take a break from acting (multiple times) to raise her family. Obviously, she needs the money in order to purchase, I mean adpot, the kid from another country. Honestly, I feel sorry for those kids when the grow up.

What a stupid cover story! Brad and Angie BOTH have said over and over again that they want to have a big family with both adopted and biological children. Since they´re not married they can´t adopt together. So Angie has to adopt as a single parent and Brad will adopt him/her later. That´s what they have done with Mad, Zahara and recently with Pax. To Brad all their children are equal. He certainly doesn´t have anyhting against this next adoption. If they can manage six children they can as well handle another one. Knox and Vivienne are at a perfect age to have a new sibling. They are still under 2 so they probably won´t be so jealous to a new family member. They already have two older brothers and sisters. And since they´re twins they sure rely on one another a lot. They have this very special bond that twins have. If Angie and Brad want to adopt a new baby or a child who´s a little bit older let them do that. They adore every one of their children equally and are perfect parents.
this story is not true because as my knowledge adoption is illegal in Syria and in all the Muslim countries .you can support an orphan but you can’t adopt one .thanks
i dunt know why ppl say that..i know an american couple who adopted an egyptian kid from an egyptian orphanage -i am an egyptian myself- and i know an egyptian actress who adopted a kid as well..
i read that it is prohibited to adopt muslim children but that you could adopt christian children. though that is supposed to be hard.
