Kate said she was wrong to treat Jon the way she did. Kate said she misses Jon. Kate tells her children that she wishes they could all be together. Kate still cries over the split.
Jon has had his midlife crisis, and now Kate has paid for the 10 years of speaking to Jon the way she did. Jon has acted like a total ass, and now realizes how badly he has screwed up.
Jon and Kate should not be allowed to quit this marriage yet. There are 8 little faces who need their parents together. Jon and Kate could work through this with therapy together, and develop new goals together as a family, each putting the other first. They could reevaluate things, move to a smaller home, write a book together on picking up the pieces, and repairing a marriage. This book would sell millions to support the family. If they had to leave for book signing, they could rent an RV, take the family, and stay together.
JON NEEDS TO CALL KATE, JUST LIKE SHE HAS BEEN HOPING, AND SAY SORRY, AND THAT WAS WEIRD, AND LET’S FIGHT FOR THIS MARRIAGE, LET’S FIGHT FOR THESE CHILDREN AND OUR FAMILY.
GO BACK TO CHURCH TOGETHER AS A FAMILY. WORK IT OUT. IT IS NOT TOO LATE. ONLY THEN WOULD AMERICA FALL IN LOVE WITH THE GOSSELINS AGAIN, AND WHAT TERRIFIC ROLE MODELS YOU WOULD BE THEN.
I totally agree. They should put the needs of the children first and work on their marriage. I think they both have seen where they were at fault in the breakup.
Miracles do happen…It would be wonderful if the marriage could be saved for the children sake,but as the old saying,”TO MUCH WATER UNDER THE BRIDGE”.I don’t believe they will get back together….JON/KATE will always have a bond due to the children,and will always have limited love for each other because they share 8 beautiful angels…:)

FORGIVENESS IS THE KEY TO HAPPINESS
Kate is going thru the “what if” part of the emotional upheaval that comes with going thru a Divorce after 10 years of marriage. It happens to all of us. What Kate needs to realize is that she is a strong, independant woman who really has been the strong one in this marrage - not Jon. If it wasn’t for her forsight in getting TLC into their lives, they all would have been left struggling financially to support all 8 of the kids and living on partial Welfare and Medicaid. It has always been Kate and her brains that has been the financial backbone of this family. Jon has always been a nothing, and always will be. Kate deserves someone who will be as strong emtionally as she is and will love all her kids as much as she does. Jon has said too many negative things about Kate, he has done too many hurtful things to Kate, and has had too many sexual flings - all that can NEVER be “forgiven”. Jon made his bed - he will lie in it ALONE once this Divorce is finalized.
Everyone forgets what a hard time Kate gave Jon. I missed watching Jon and Kate plus 8. I would love to see the children grow up on TV. It would be nice if Jon and Kate can get help, and then get back together as husband and wife for their children and for themselves. I would love for the whole family including John to stay on their show. Please hire Jon back, if that is what he really wants.
I really think they still love each other. and need to admit it and that both of them are at fault. maybe they should try dating one another again and see if sparks fly. my husband and I done it. and we have been married 39 years. try everything until they are for sure what they want. they will never know until they try not just for them but for their children. after all family is everything.
I really think they both regret the chose to split up . No one will ever know the real truth. She might have been a little fiesty, but she had always been that way. If he did not like it then he should have nipped it in the bud from the start. BUT he didn’t. I feel like he let the media and all the attention from the younger girls go to his head big time. He also messed up when he chose to go through his mid-life crisis on national television. I don’t think that Kate is a bad woman at all. They both need to just deal with the what ifs, and shoulda’s. It will take time, but I do think they will get back together. Uhm they have 8 children , and I am pretty sure no one wants that job by themselves.
