Jon Gosselin is ditching his eight children to spend Thanksgiving with the on—off girlfriend who recently described their relationship as being emotionally abusive.
During a joint interview with Hailey Glassman on Entertainment Tonight, Jon admitted that his holiday plans didn’t involve his estranged wife Kate Gosselin, 34, and their brood.
“My family and I would never let him eat Thanksgiving dinner alone in an apartment,” says Hailey, who has said that Jon “emotionally abused” her. “He’s coming to our house for Thanksgiving. I don’t care.”
Wait, didn’t these fame—seekers break up? Apparently the pair are as confused about their relationship as we are.
“I still planned on going to her house on Thanksgiving; that was on my schedule,” said Jon, 32, as Hailey raised her eyebrows.
“On your schedule? What do you mean, ‘On my schedule?’” snapped Hailey.
She added, “Let’s see, Kate has the kids, and she’s having a nice huge meal with Steve and his family. Uh, let’s see, should I go to Hailey’s or should I sit in my apartment all alone?”
“Sorry, I used the wrong term,” responded Jon. “I plan on going — I made a promise to her family I would go to her house.”
“Made a promise? You’re not doing my family any favors!” replies Hailey.
“We know what the right thing to do is. We know what we both need,” she continues. “He needs to do his thing and I need to do my thing. We both know this.”
Meanwhile, RadarOnline reports that Hailey will be interviewed by TLC’s law firm Williams & Connolly in the breach of contact suit against the former Jon and Kate Plus 8 star.
On Nov. 4, the court granted a slew of motions filed by the Washington D.C—based law firm to depose Hailey, Jon’s bodyguard Thomas Meinelt and four other witnesses: Michael Heller, Mark Heller, Matthew Kirschner and Michael Lohan.
TLC alleges that Jon breached his exclusive contract with them and Williams & Connolly is on a fact—finding mission to establish Jon’s other sources of income.
Michael Lohan has stated publicly that he and Jon were lining up a new reality TV show about divorced dads.
Why would Hailey invite JON for Thanksgiving??? after what she said about JON,or was it all FAKE w/Hailey?? I believe JON& Hailey needs REHAB,they are so mixed up about their life..
He’s spending it there because he refused an invitation from Kate & the kids. Hailey said it on ET that he decided to eat in his apt alone to rangle an invite from the Glassmans. He said I accepted an invitation from Mrs Glassman and Hailey told him he should be with his children and that he wouldn’t be doing her family any favors showing up for dinner and that’s when he really got mad.
The reason JON not with his children at THANKSGIVING is that it not his time to be w/the children it not that he doesn’t want to be w/them…I do wish JON would let TLC continue filming the children at least that would keep the children minds occupied& places to go…JON or Kate can’t afford to take the children on trips…..
Not healthy to have kids in front of cameras sowing their lives, I liked the show once upon a time too, but time for the kids to have a normal life. Hope the best for those kids and Jon. Kate can make money doing er own thing and so can he without exposing their kids
Jon doesn’t want to work. Don’t you get it. But after TLC gets done with him he won’t even have to worry about Hailey. She’ll be history when he’s broke trying still to get on a reality show. He’ll be trying to get Kate back. I sure hope she has good locks on her windows and doors to keep that leach out!!

I don’t get it, she can make money on the side but he can’t!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! TLC is all one sided here. Taking te father of 8 to court cause he made money on the side and refuses to put his kids on camera so people can gawk is not a good thing TLC, SHAME on you
Brian- if you have been reading, Kate got permission to go and talk to those other places. Jon on the other hand did not. There is a big difference. TLC is not one sided. Jon broke his contract and if Kate did it they would be doing the same thing. Jon can’t just do and get what he wants. There are rules in a contract and he knew it and he broke it. Now he has to face the legality of it.
