Just six months after steaming up the dance floor on Dancing with the Stars, country darlings Julianne Hough and Chuck Wicks have broken up.
The aspiring singers reportedly bought a house together three months ago, but it wasn’t enough to keep them together.
“This was mutual,” a source says. “They both needed some time apart.”
It seemed like the pair were made for each other. “What’s been fun is that we never argued at all,” Julianne, 21, told E! News after they stepped off DWTS in sixth place.
“We’ve had a little tiff here and there, but about dance movements. It was fun. We had this passion. It was fun for us because we never argued.”
But, the pair have to face each other at tomorrow’s Country Music Association Awards where Julianne is scheduled to present and Chuck, 30, is working the red carpet for Entertainment Tonight.
