After hosting a Halloween party in NYC, Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon flew to Hollywood for a screening of her new film Precious. Mimi said she first read Push, the novel Precious is based on, after a friend threatened her to read it. “We were on the beach and she said, ‘If you don’t read this, I’m going to kill you… And so I read the book, cried my way through it, then I read it again and ever since then, I’ve just been, like, “That book was incredible.”
