Nicole Richie is planning her return to primetime. Forget the reality antics of the Simple Life, this time the mom-of-two will star in a scripted comedy on ABC.
The show will feature Nicole, 28, as a professional woman juggling complex family relationships while she tries to decide what to do with her life.
Nicole, who was recently hospitalized with pneumonia, devised the show and will get a producing credit, reports Variety.
The new mom (she gave birth to son Sparrow on Sept. 9) is also working on her second novel, as well as her debut clothing collection and shoe line.
