As the Colts and Saints prepare to battle it out for the Super Bowl title, celebs are showing their support by partying the nights away in hot Miami. Dadager Joe Simpson took part of the action, stopping by the bash hosted by his former son-in-law Nick Lachey. Joe casually walked into Nick’s event at the Hotel 944 at Eden Roc Renaissance Miami Beach. “Nick doesn’t know I’m here!” an eyewitness at the party heard Joe confess.
“I was so confused because I thought they hated each other,” the eyewitness tells OK!.

Joe had been rumored to be one of the reasons Nick and his daughter Jessica Simpson split in 2005.
The onlooker tells OK! Joe was staying at the Eden Roc, where Nick and girlfriend Vanessa Minnillo are also celebrating the Super Bowl.

Nick and Vanessa spent the day at the relaxing by the pool.
“Nick was late for his event because Vanessa took forever to get ready,” a source close to the couple tells OK!. “Joe went up the elevator to the party before Nick, and tried to slip in unnoticed.”
When Nick learned his former father-in-law was at his party he looked shocked.
“I haven’t talked to Joe in years,” Nick told OK!. “So be it.”

Just read further. The party opens a two day golf charity event the proceeds of which go to a number of charities. The event is Nick and Jimmie Johnson together. It is all for a very good cause. good luck Nick and Vanessa.
Eh, I’m not sure Nick should be complaining anyway, being linked somehow with Jessica seems to be the only way he stays relevant.

I doubt this was even true. If Nick and Vanessa were not always drunk they would notice who was at the party. I’m sure low class Vanessa was giving Nick a lap dance all night. Nick should be grateful of Joe because nobody cares about has-been Nick unles it’s about Jessica.
