Ricky Martin's a Dad!

Pop sensation Ricky Martin, 36, has been out of the spotlight for a while, and it turns out he's been busy: Representatives for the "She Bangs" singer just announced Ricky is the father of twin boys born a few weeks ago, according to the AP.

We know what you're thinking, and no, you're not missing  something – the boys were born via a surrogate mother.

The statement goes on to say that the boys are both healthy and being taken care of full-time by Ricky, who will continue to lay low.

''Ricky is elated to begin this new chapter in his life as a parent," the statement says, "and will be spending the remainder of the year out of the public spotlight in order to spend time with his children."
