Cheryl Hines, who turns 42 today, admits her birthday wish is to go to Las Vegas to play poker. “That’s my little dream,” she tells intern Brandi Tape at the Quaker Smart Heart Café breakfast.

The actress, who has been married to Paul Young since 2002, enjoys being a mom to their daughter, Catherine, 3. “You know when you’re falling in love with someone and you have that electric feeling? It’s like that every day with her. I wake up and look in her eyes and I’m like, ‘Oh my god, I’m so in love with you!’”

Cheryl hopes to arrange a play date with Waitress co-star Keri Russell, whose son, River, is 3 months old.

“I’m dying to meet him,” she says. “I’ve heard all about him.”
