Chicago’s all that and then some. The city has great architecture, a big city feel and a lake in the middle! The night my friends and I arrived in the Windy City for Lollapalooza we took photos on the “While You Were Sleeping” bridge a la Sandra Bullock and I’ve started each morning putting on my new pink Skull Candy headphones and running the trail along the water a la Jen Aniston in the "Break Up." Looking up at the buildings along the water is reminiscent of running along the Hudson River during my tenure living in New York, but dare I say prettier than the view of Jersey, with less bobbing sneakers.

In the last couple of days I’ve seen Katy Perry sing her hit “I Kissed a Girl” in the intimate MOTOROKR Lounge at the Underground and Danny Masterson DJ at Metromix.com’s party at the Hard Rock Hotel. Tonight, Katy’s peforming at Manor and Samantha “she’s Kissed a Girl” Ronson (who was filmed by TMZ en route to Chicago with Lindsay Lohan) is the opening act for her bro Mark Ronson at the Hard Rock Hotel. Can’t wait.

In the meantime, after musically inspired in Nashville to take up guitar, I’m honing my skills here in the hotel with the help of ‘The Band.’ Our working moniker is The Ammaazzings. Pictured, Page, Joyce and I at rehearsal– aka, playing Rock Band in the metromix.com suites ;) xo
