As I’m sure I wasn’t the only one who watched The Karate Kid and thought I could learn the discipline by waxing the neighbors' cars, I'm psyched to learn that the '80s icon Ralph Macchio is coming to Ugly Betty!

Ralph will appear as city official Archie Rodriguez on Oct. 30. 

Ugly Betty star Ana Ortiz spilled to my fellow blogger, OK!'s Valerie Nome  at the Stand Up for a Cure event that the boy we once loved is now all man.

“You look at him and it’s hard to recognize … you don’t see the boy anymore,” Ana admits.  “And he’s just a completely wonderful actor.”

Oh, Ana, you do gush!

“I loved him," she says, "but I did have a crush on Pony Boy in The Outsiders.”

Maybe C. Thomas Howell can stop by next!
