DVR THIS: The Cooking Loft
(Astrid Stawiarz for OK!)

You would think cooking for celebs on a daily basis would ruffle some people.

Not Chef Alex Guarnaschelli.

The executive chef of Butter restaurant and lounge in New York City (where Gossip Girl's Blair Waldorf tried to reunite with her frenemies over cocktails) is launching her own show, The Cooking Loft, on Food Network this Saturday, and has had a roster of A-listers digging into her dishes.

Leonardo DeCaprio and Matt Damon,” she tossed off nonchalantly when I sat down with her in the cavernous establishment.

The dish they snapped up the most? “The cavatappi pasta with lamb sausage is probably the most popular,” she shared.

For those who adventurous enough in the kitchen to whip a dish worth of Brad Pitt’s taste buds, never fear. It’s one of the dishes Alex’s covers in the pasta-themed episode of her series.

“It’s a yellow tomato sauce with red pepper flakes and rice wine vinegar. It’s little bit unusual sauce,” she shares.

She also has students cooking with her that asks all the pertinent questions along the way.

“It’s interesting for me to learn what people are thinking about,” Alex said. “It’s the conscience question side of show.”

Since we are asking questions, what is the one item Alex thinks everyone, even the stovetop challenged, should have in their kitchen?

“I think you can do pretty much anything if you have a jar of mustard,” she suggested. “You can make a vinaigrette or a thick sauce. You can throw in surprising places, like an omelet or mac and cheese.”

I’ve got a jar of mustard in my fridge!

“The point of the show is that anything is possible your own kitchen,” Alex pointed out.

Even mine!

The Cooking Loft premieres Saturday, Aug. 30 at 9:30 a.m. on the Food Network.

TV HUNK DISCOVERED: Martin Ritchie

My fave supermodel-turned-model agency owner Janice Dickinson is back with her can’t-miss-an-episode series, The Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency, tonight!

The outspoken entrepreneur has moved in a mansion in the Hollywood Hills with her models, and they’re going to have to listen to her, even the model who is hearing impaired.

I caught up with  Martin Ritchie to find out what it’s like to work for Janice, challenges in the industry for a deaf model and just how steamy things will get inside those model walls!

What's it like working for Janice? Is she like a second mom?
Terrific and I loved every minute of it. She is absolutely brilliant and easy to work with because I listen to her all the time! (laughs) She is like a second mom to me and I do miss our time in the model house together. She showed me her love and affection. That was something that I never have felt. I used to have many daydreams of her becoming my mom and knowing that her children must be very grateful and happy to have her.

Why did you want to become a model?
I always felt becoming a model would be helpful for me. I’d like to be a spokesperson and to be an activist as well. I seriously want to make some differences in this world.

Is it a challenge to deal with your deafness in the industry?
I’ve dealt with many pathetic excuses and discriminations while I was meeting some clients and agencies. They simply said, “You are not what we are looking for this time. “I was very frustrated and I refused to give up. I still am fighting back for my own right. Yes, it’s definitely a challenge for me.

Are you single?

Yes, I am single!

Who is your ideal partner?
A guy with great personality who is mature and handsome and in his early 30s is definitely perfect for me!

What would be the ultimate company to model for?
Honestly, I would love to model for Guess Jeans company.  Being a Guess model would be something so magical and a dream come true for me!

Can you give us a sneak peek of the drama coming up on the show?
This season is so outrageous and very entertaining! Some twists this season are that Janice brought all new models in the house with the original models from the previous season, and yes, the hearing impaired model that Janice picked is living in the model house, as well! It’s definitely shocking to everyone. I can assure you guys that you are going to love and hate some models. I am not telling you more. You just have to be patient and watch it on Oxygen!

You know we are!

The Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency, season four, premieres Tuesday, Aug. 26 at 10 p.m. on Oxygen.

If you watched The Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency last night – and you know you did – you'll fully aware that Janice is shacking up with her newest discoveries. Yep, the diva is Big Brother!

On Monday at a walk-off modeling competition held at the NBC Experience store in New York City, Janice revealed to me at that moving in was actually a genius move. "And I'm the only one that can do it," she declared.

"I installed the surveillance system in the house, and I watch them 24/7 because when you go on location around the world, when Kate Moss goes to Japan to do a Nikon commercial, she has to cohabit with other people like hairdressesers, makeup artists and stylists," Janice explained. "You have to be able to get along and work with your team."

Ever the trailblazer, Janice introduced viewers to Martin Ritchie on her show's premiere last night, a model who is deaf and speaks through an interpreter.

Janice poopooed away the notion that she's doing anything out of the ordinary.

"It doesn't matter if he can't hear. I think he's as great a model as anyone else, watch you'll see," she declared.

"It's a marvelous installation of a blend of what makes America."

Janice proved that point yet again when she, along with her son Nathan Fields and veteran JD models J.P. Calderon and Crystal Truehart crowned Amber Walker from Stamford, Conn., as the $1000 winner of the contest.

"It's about time the sisters are recognized," Janice told the crowd.  "She's got the 'It' factor."

And I got to see a bevy of drag queens who hosted the event work the runway. And yes, I was taking notes!

Catch future episodes of The Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency Tuesdays at 10 p.m. on Oxygen.

My Boys' Reid Scott on The Ex List
(Courtesy My Boys)

My BoysReid Scott is getting a second chance at love, sort of.

The TV Fanatic has learned he’s shooting a guest spot on the new CBS dramedy, The Ex List.

The series features Grey’s Anatomy alum Elizabeth Reaser as a single gal who has one year to find her Mr. Right, or else spend the rest of her life alone.

Only trouble is, the “one” is actually one of her former boyfriends.

Talk about some serious retro-dating!

I've always been curious what My Boys' Brendan’s ex-girlfriends were like.

The Ex List
premieres Friday, Oct. 3 at 9 p.m. on CBS.
