In the book, Bella meets the Cullens when she moves to a small town outside of Seattle. To capture the same feel, the film was shot in Washington and Oregon.
"On Twilight, we needed overcast as a backdrop, so we prayed for cloudy days. Sunny days held up shooting," says Peter Facinelli who plays Cullen family patriarch, Carlisle.
