Growing up in a devout Christian family, sexy songstress Katy Perry began her career as gospel-singing recording artist. When that didn't pick up, she ditched the genre and scored a deal with Capitol Records, making her pop debut. Katy quickly took the music world by storm with super catchy hits like "I Kissed a Girl," earning her a Grammy nomination in 2008. After a romance with Gym Class Heroes frontman Travie McCoy, Katy started seeing British comedian Russell Brand. Later releasing her sophomore album, Teenage Dream, Katy has been unstoppable ever since. As for her love life, she couldn't be happier. She and Russell tied the knot in a very intimate ceremony in India in 2010.
