Michael Jackson will forever be The King of Pop. Since he first began performing with his siblings in The Jackson 5, Michael was recognized as one of the most successful soul/pop vocalists. In the 80s, Michael came into his own, realeasing solo albums including Thriller, which became the biggest-selling album of all time. His unique style and elaborate music videos helped solidfy MJ as the ultimate pop icon. Unfortunately, it appeared as though fame may have been too much for the star. Michael's physical appearance changed drastically as his skin lightened and his nose changed. His behavior also became quite erratic and childlike. Michael became the center of a pedophilia scandal which followed him until his death even though he was never found guilty. In 2009, the pop star died leaving behind three children, Paris, Blanket and Prince Michael. His doctor, Conrad Murray, was convicted of involuntary manslaughter.
