Surprise surprise! This Aussie beauty was actually born here in America before making the move to Sydney in the early '70s. Nicole was taken by her new surroundings and soon became one of the most famous stars in Oz before she crossed over to Hollywood fame. In 1990, Nicole married Days of Thunder co-star Tom Cruise, with whom she adopted two children. Then in 2001, the couple separated, not long after Nicole showed off her musical chops in the smash hit Moulin Rouge!. She proved that divorce didn't get her down by earning her first Oscar in 2003 for her portrayal of Virginia Wolfe in The Hours. Now that she had her career where she wanted, it was time to get her romantic life sorted. In 2006, Nicole did just that when she married country star Keith Urban.
