With only a small role in an Oscar Wilde biopic, Orlando Bloom was relatively unknown when Peter Jackson cast him as Legolas in The Lord of the Rings trilogy. After the series went on to become one of the highest grossing films of all time, Orlando didn’t stop there. He was then cast in blockbuster Pirates of the Caribbean, alongside Keira Knightley and Johnny Depp, which later turned into one of Disney’s most successful franchises.
