Look at Those Lunch Boxes

'Tis the season for philanthropy and to help feed the hungry over the holidays dozens of A-list celebrities decorated lunch boxes to be auctioned online to benefit The Lunchbox Fund and Food Bank for New York City.

At a party to kick off the auction Dec. 6 in NYC, OK! caught up with Maggie Gyllenhaal who was proudly standing beside the lunch box she and fiance Peter Sarsgaard designed. After winding up and giving a demonstration of the lunch box they turned into a combination music box/jewelry box Maggie told OK! the idea for their theme "was decided by the whole household,” which now also includes 1-year-old baby girl Ramona.

REM lead singer Michael Stipe hosted the party where he auctioned off his lunch box, including 60 photos he took, a frame he bought that day on Canal Street and a pair of glasses similar to his own, for $35,000!

The online auction continues through Dec. 21.
