Rumors have been swirling that Adele is happily dating a new man — a new man who happens to be married and a father. But back off, people! The songstress has finally put the reports to rest and decided to speak out on behalf of her relationship with Simon Konecki.

British tabloids reported that 36-year-old charity entrepreneur Simon was still married to his estranged wife, stylist Clary Fisher, and that he was in fact the father of a 5-year-old girl. Well, here's the truth, straight from Adele's mouth: 

"This is the first and last time I will comment on the details of my relationship with Simon," the Grammy-nominated singer wrote in a post on her official blog yesterday. "Contrary to reports and headlines in the press today, Simon is divorced and has been for 4 years. Everyone in our lives separately and together wish us nothing but the best, and vice versa. These are the facts. Take care and see you all in February xx."
