Barbara Walters' 10 Most Fascinating People Includes Katy Perry and the Kardashians
You know the year is coming to a close when Barbara Walters announces the "10 Most Fascinating People of 2011."
The latest edition of her annual show (airing on ABC on Dec. 14 at 9 p.m. ET) will highlight the year's biggest names in entertainment, sports and culture.
Included in the 90-minute special are singer Katy Perry; television personality/business tycoon Donald Trump; snarky producer/television personality Simon Cowell; and England's royal sister-in-law Pippa Middleton, who is also the first person to steal some thunder from Kim Kardashian's much-discussed derriere in some time.
And speaking of the Kardashians, after the year they've had — marriage, divorce, reality TV shows galore and now a baby! — Barbara would have to be blind not to include the first family of reality television on this year's list (which she obviously did).
Also featured this year are two breakout stars of ABC's own Modern Family, Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Eric Stonestreet, as well as New York Yankees shortstop Derek Jeter.
Justin Bieber, who was included on last year's "Most Fascinating" list, is absent from the 2011 edition.
But don't feel bad for the Biebs. He just ousted Kim as Bing's Most Searched Person of the Year!
