Beyoncé Pays Tribute to Whitney Houston During Atlantic City Concert
Well, it turns out Beyoncé didn't need to be nervous about her return to the stage, after all! The powerhouse singer rocked her show at the Atlantic City Revel Casino last night. The show marked the opening of the casino, and Beyoncé's first performance since giving birth to baby girl Blue Ivy Carter in January.
"I'm enjoying being a mother so it's like going back to my old job," Beyoncé said in a behind-the-scenes video before taking the stage. "It is a little strange, but it's important that you don't lose yourself, still have your own passions. I'm back to work, I'm back to business."
She certainly is! And by the way, we love her mentality.
Bey also paid tribute one of her biggest inspirations, the late Whitney Houston, during the performance, with a cover of "I Will Always Love You" that led into her own hit, "Halo."
Bey has three more shows at Revel this weekend. Are you going to be there? Wish you could? So do we!
