In fact, he called her to say how psyched he was about Kiss. She added, "I was stoked, him and Scooter [Braun]. Scooter called me ... and he's like 'It's fantastic, you should be pumped,' and it's not often that I say that I am, but I am pumped. I hope people like it, but it's fun to know that my friends and family and people around me are digging it, and hopefully everyone else likes it, too."
Considering she wrote almost every song, including lyric ideas she has been collecting since she was 17, she pointed out it's "really fun to get to see them put to life."
Be sure to catch Carly this Friday morning when she performs with Owl City on the Today show.
