Clint Eastwood's 'Hereafter' Pulled from Japan Theaters
What happens when Clint Eastwood's tsunami movie, Hereafter, starring Matt Damon hits theaters in Japan? Well, due to the unfortunate catastrophic earthquake and tsunami and sensitivity for theater goers, it gets pulled.
According to The Huffington Post, a film distributor has decided to stop showing the Eastwood flick, saying the terrifying tsunami scenes were "not appropriate" at this time.
Hereafter opened in Japan late last month and was shown in 180 theaters. The movie was initially planned to be shown on the big screen until late March but has now been pulled.
