Coaches Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton are all very amped up for the upcoming second season of the Voice and sat down to talk about what sets the competition show apart, changes that have been made and how high the bar has been raised for talent at a press junket on Friday.

“I don’t think there are any TV shows of this kind,” Christina explained to reporters of the NBC series, “We are experienced judges in the sense that we have been on the tours, we’ve won the Grammys, we have had countless records sold - and not coming from an egotistical place - but we have been there, we have done that.”

After seeing success on the first run of the Voice with winner Javier Cologne, Christina admits that, “The bar has been raised very high,” but luckily the contestants have gotten even better.

“There is such incredible undiscovered talent this year that I think we were all pretty blown away by it,” the coach gushed while at Sony Studios in Culver City, Calif. alongside host Carson Daly and producer Mark Burnett.

And with a Feb. 5 premiere time slot right after the much-anticipated 2012 NFL championship game, Blake couldn’t help but joke that the show is, “going to make the Super Bowl look small!”

While fellow coach Adam quickly shot back at Blake, “Don't talk s*** about the Super Bowl,” the Maroon 5 artist knows that with such a great time for the show’s premiere episode, he has to bring his A-game as a panelist.

“I think that we all feel that we need to step up because the show has been very successful,” Adam told reporters, “I mean we have fun and all mess around up here, but at the end of the day, it’s about really developing talent because it’s become something that’s really a launch pad for musicians and artists and singers.”

Working with such amazing talent, Christina explained that each coach will now also be able to take on more artists before the battle round of the series.

The “Dirty” singer was overjoyed that she could, “chose twelve people to be on our team, where as opposed to last year it was eight!”

Catch NBC’s the Voice, where the new contestants will be going straight into blind auditions in front of the star-studded panel, on Feb. 5.
