When 44-year-old rapper Heavy D died suddenly last November, the world was stunned.
Nearly two months after his death, the L.A. coroner's office says the self-proclaimed "overweight lover" of hip-hop died of natural causes.
According to Huffington Post, the coroner's office spokesperson said that his weight and a transcontinental jet flight contributed to his passing.
Pulmonary embolism and deep leg vein thrombosis were ruled the causes of death. Plus, the Jamaican-born performer had arteriosclerotic cardiovascular disease. Perhaps it's fitting that the upbeat rapper's last tweet, typed 16 hours before his death, read "BE INSPIRED."
