'Daily News' Photographer Speaks Out About Alec Baldwin Scuffle & Files Assault Complaint
Alec Baldwin got into a scuffle with a newspaper photographer yesterday when the 30 Rock actor obtained a license to marry his fiancée, Hilaria Thomas.
Alec's rep denied to E! News that punches were thrown, but the lensman for The Daily News filed an assault complaint with the NYPD. He indicated some pain in his chin along with a headache and dizziness.
Marcus Santos told the newspaper, “He comes after me, starts shoving and punching me — one time, right in the chin. And then he started shoving me, and pushing me. He lunged at me like raging bull.”
Alec allegedly told another photographer, "Say away from me, or I'll break your f------ teeth." At that point, Marcus says photographers followed his orders and warned the actor to chill out when he allegedly tried reaching for another photographer.
"I said, 'Don't touch him,'" said Marcus. "Then he came right after me. I knew he was going to attack me. I stepped back, and he kept coming."
