'Downton Abbey' Finale Ratings Soar; David Boreanaz to Guest Star?
We've said it before and we'll say it again, Downton Abbey is a show we should all start watching! The PBS program just aired its second season finale episode to the network's largest audience in almost three years.
According to Entertainment Weekly, 5.4 million viewers watched Downton Abbey on Sunday night.
The second season of the show grew by 25 percent in viewers and we expect to see that number continue to rise.
It could also help that the show may be taking on some popular guest stars! Shirley MacLaine has already signed on for season three to play Lady Grantham's mother.
"I'd like to be that American cowboy who shakes things up at Downton Abbey," David Boreanaz Tweeted on Monday. "I'm open for a visit Mr Fellowes. #ITV @masterpiecepbs."
The Bones star's Tweet was directed at Julian Fellowes, the writer and producer of the show.
Would you like to see David on Downton Abbey or is the show a masterpiece as is?
