Expectant Mom Jessica Simpson Dishes on Pregnancy Style & Nursery Plans

Due in the “spring,” first-time mom-to-be Jessica Simpson has been adjusting to dressing her body with a baby and revealed to OK! on Friday afternoon how her personal style has changed and how exactly she has been trying to plan for the little one on the way.

“I definitely look for comfort. I buy bigger sizes, which is important,” Jessica gushed to OK! in Pasadena while at an NBC TCA discussion for her latest television endeavor Fashion Star with Nicole Richie, John Varvatos and Elle Macpherson. 

While the 31-year-old has had to adjust her clothing purchases to accommodate the baby on board, Jessica explained that since she wasn’t able to find much maternity wear specifically, she wants to expand her booming fashion empire with the idea.

“I haven't really done maternity clothes because I don't really love a lot of maternity stuff, so I'm actually using it as a fun business thing to do, so the next thing you will see from the Jessica Simpson Collection is maternity,” the former Newlyweds reality star confessed to OK!.

While Jessica works on growing her business, she also has a lot to do as she begins to focus on planning for the baby to arrive!

“I haven't started,” the Texas native admitted to OK! of designing the baby’s nursery, “The next couple of weeks I have to start. The baby's gotta sleep somewhere!”

Even if the nursery is still under construction, one thing seems to be pretty set in stone – a name. “We've gone through all different kinds of names but we're pretty much set on our names, so we'll se what happens,” Jessica left OK! with a bit of mystery regarding what exactly she and Eric Johnson will name their child.
