Farrah Abraham pleaded not guilty on Monday to three charges stemming from her March DUI arrest

As OKMagazine.com previously reported, Abraham was pulled over in the early hours of March 18 after Omaha cops spotted her car swerving all over the road around 1am.

Police arrested the 21-year-old after they gave her a breathalyzer and she blew a .147—nearly twice the legal limit of 0.08.

Abraham immediately came out on the defensive following her arrest, denying reports that she had been partying hard prior to being pulled over, and claiming she failed the breathalyzer test due to "sickness" and "shortness of breath."

"It was St. Patrick's Day and I was out with my sister," the reality star told In Touch. "I did not plan to drink because I was sick, so I took the role of being in charge and making sure my sister and I would return home together and safely.”

“At 10 p.m. I tried to leave, and at that time, my sister was not ready to leave so I had been sipping on drinks to pass the time.”

She went on to claim that when her sister was finally ready to leave she refused to walk to the car, so to keep her happy Farrah says she went to drive the car round to her, but when she spotted cops she decided to park up.

“When I was parked a police officer asked me what I was doing, so I told him I was worried about my sister and I was trying to go home,” she explained.

“They insisted on the regular questions and asked me to get out of the car. I got out of the car, and because I was upset, I yelled.”

She then claimed it was ill health, not booze that caused her breathalyzer reading.

“Because I’m sick, I could not give an accurate breathalyzer test, due to coughing and shortage of breath," she claimed.

“I have a lawyer and all will work out with my ticket.”

However, Abraham's Twitter would seem to tell a very different tale. Just hours before her arrest she tweeted, " #WHERE ya gettin your #CornBeef today !!!!????? && That #Lucky #Irish #Beer! Send it my way!!!!"

Abraham is scheduled to appear in court May 31.
