The Feud Continues: Elton John Says Madonna's "Career is Over"

Think Elton John and Madonna are best buddies? Think again.

In a new television interview in Australia, according to The Huffington Post, Elton apparently blasted the Material Girl and indicated her "career is over."

He added, "She's such a nightmare." And although the video is not online, apparently he added "she looks like a f**king fairground stripper."

Maybe he's upset Madonna has been "horrible," as he says, to Lady Gaga? Mama Monster's the godmother to his son, Zachary, but Madge has been quite vocal about  similarities between Lady Gaga's hit, "Born This Way," and her own hit, "Express Yourself."

That said, in addition to the controversial quotes, it sounds like the TV appearance has become controversial as well. His PR team allegedly contacted an Australian entertainment reporter to indicate the quotes were fabricated. After being informed they were aired on TV, his team reportedly said the conversation was "off the record."
