Ja Rule Officially Checks Into Prison to Serve Two-Year Sentence
Ja Rule turned himself over to authorities today to serve his two-year prison sentence in New York.
TMZ talked to the rapper's executive producer, Seven, who was at the courthouse with Ja Rule.
Before he turned himself in, Seven said Ja Rule spent quality time with his wife, friends and family.
"Real life is a fantasy, f*** fame ... I'm ready for this to get over with," was reportedly the last thing Ja Rule said before checking in. "I am focused."
Ja Rule pled guilty to an attempted criminal possession of a weapon charge in 2010.
